As far as I know, only one store refused to redeem the coupon. After a phone call to Lakeland, and a follow-up with the store, I was assured that they would accept the coupon.

I will have our weekly “Why We Love Coupons” shopping trip result(s) up later tonight. Stop by later and link up your savings, regardless of the size. As my Father used to tell me, “Better that the penny is in your pocket than their pocket”.

This giveaway begins at 9:00PM EDT on Friday August 27, 2010 and ends when we have the 50 comments or at 11:59PM EDT on August 29, 2010 (whichever happens first). The coupon expires on October 31, 2010.

I like the fact that I am able to offer something to our readers in states that do not have a Publix. Though you still have to pay a few dollars for the Nestlé water, you can print out 2 copies (per computer) of this coupon and save $1.00 each time.

I am not sure if today is the first day of the year that we have hit the 90 degree mark or not, but if you are outside at all in this heat YOU NEED TO HYDRATE.

A GREAT way to hydrate is with a .5 liter bottle of Publix Spring Water (and of course you would reuse the bottle a few times before recycling it).

So, we are in the couponing giving mood. All you need to do is leave a comment to this post and we will get in touch with you for your address (might be a few days from your request), please be patient. As this giveaway gains in popularity, we have been receiving more and more email addresses that are not correct, so double check your email address while leaving your comment. Also, for privacy reasons, please DO NOT leave your mailing address in your comment. I always feel weird when someone does that.

To answer a few of the questions I have received about this giveaway, yes, we pay for the stamp, envelope, ink, etc. No, we are not being reimbursed or compensated by Publix or anyone else for doing this. Actually, we have handed more then a few of these to store employees, from bag boys up to the managers for their personal use. The simple answer as to the “Why?” question is because we have been blessed and want to share our happiness with anyone that asks. As far as we know, this coupon is being accepted at all Publix stores system-wide. Every once in a while a store might limit the amount of coupons a person can use at one time, but no one has had their coupons refused.

The current coupon will expire on May 1, 2010 when the LU # will be removed from the Publix system & REPLACED BY A NEW LU #. The current coupons WILL NOT work after that. Please use what you have as soon as possible. If we have mailed you some coupons in the past couple of days, you have until the end of April to redeem your coupons.

If you have requested coupons in the past couple of days, but have not yet received an email from us asking for your mailing address, you will later tonight or Saturday morning. You will be mailed the new coupons.

The two differences between the coupons that will no longer be honored after April 30, 2010 and the new one is that the LU # has been changed and the new coupons DO have an expiration date which is October 31, 2010.

You might be asking, “So Mark, how do I get ahold of these wonderful coupons for FREE Publix Spring Water (6 pack of .5ltr bottles)?” All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. We will then contact you for your mailing address. If you don’t supply us with your mailing address we can’t mail you the coupons.

Hello all. Sorry for not posting much so far today, I have been running a few errands and catching up on mailing out the coupon requests.

Though I have not had a Big Mac in years, I decided to try a McD Big Mac snack wrap. For a $1.49 you get a wrap that contains a McD’s burger patty (cut/chopped) and all the other stuff that goes into a Big Mac. With my B1G1 coupon, from the WOW! MORE McD Coupon sheets, I drove away with food for less then 2 bucks.

You might be wondering if I really just ordered the snack wrap, and yes, that was all I ordered because I ALWAY have at least a 6 pack of FREE Publix Water in my car. I figured that for a buck forty-nine that I couldn’t go wrong, though my Dr. and Kathy would tell me otherwise. Very easy to hold, and yes, it tastes like a Big Mac. Plus, after you are done, you do not feel stuffed due to the buns that the original uses. Would I get another one of these, yes, but I don’t usually eat at McD’s. When I go with our kids I usually steal a few of their nuggets and fries.

After running some errands, I decided to try the KIND bar at Starbucks. Of the three outlets I either drove to or called on my phone, only one of them even knew about the promo and that store did not know about it until someone told them about it today. These are not Starbucks inside Super Targets, but regular stand alone/part of a strip center outlets. I tried the store in Ocoee, and they said that they did not know about the promo either until this morning. Oh well, so much for my using my Starbucks GC on some coffee while I sampled the KIND bar flavors.

Now, for the really fun part, that I predicted to friends, but gave the Egg Board (the people that brought us that jingle, “The Incredible Edible Egg”) the benefit of doubt. I found out about the two hoops to jump through on Facebook offer the other day, and alarms were already sounding in my head. You know that as soon as the opened the link to get the coupons, the servers were going to get jammed, and people would be unhappy. Signed on to Facebook at around 11:45 and yep, there are some mighty unhappy people. No, I have not yet received my coupon for FREE Eggs, have you? WOW! As I type this I have been trying to get my FREE egg coupon, I have advanced to the form. Here is what it looks like:

Now I just sit back and wait for the coupon to arrive via email, so far, no dice. Has been about 20 minutes or so.

Now I am going back to figure out the shopping list for our Publix run later this afternoon.

Due to the generous support from our neighbors, friends, and family, we acquire a few extra coupons for items or restaurants that we know we are not going to use.
