I found a bunch of NEW BLINKY coupons at several SW Orlando Publix stores last night (7/17/10). For our readers that are new to couponing, please read our post “Blinky Coupons 101”.

What the heck is a Blinky you say? Blinky is the nickname for the coupons that come out of the little boxes as you walk past them (and almost always the property of SmartSource). The blinky part is because there is a red blinking light in the sides, so matter which way you are walking down the aisle the red blinking light catches your eye. When you are in the frozen food section, they really stand out because they are suction cupped to the doors. In the aisles it is a tad bit tougher to spot, especially if the battery has not been changed lately. In Central Florida, Publix has the most Blinky type machines, though other stores also have them.
