Here is how I did it, I went to the customer service counter at the Albertsons near Windermere, and asked for the form to fill out so that I could receive the weekly newspaper insert. I filled out the form right there, and THEY FAXED it to Boise, ID. It takes 2-3 weeks or so to receive the first copy. USUALLY the insert will arrive in our physical mailbox on either Monday or Tuesday. Sometimes it is not there until Wednesday. Which ever insert is in the Orlando Sentinel, that is the insert that I receive.

First event is a 5K Run at 7:30AM, with race day registration beginning at 6:30AM followed by a Fun Walk at 10AM. Please go HERE for more info.

Then, from 10AM – 2PM is an adoption drive by the group Floridalittledogrescue.com at PetSmart, which is also in the Village. In fact, if you are participating in either of the earlier events (which are being held to raise money for women’s health education), the course goes right in front of PetSmart. Visit their website tonight, so that you can get an idea of which rescued dog you would be interested in possibly adopting. Also, while on their website, you can apply so you can be pre-approved before tomorrow.

So, they you go, two events, both of which support wonderful causes. You can help fund women’s health education as you run, walk, stroll or roll through the village, or welcome a new furry friend into your home.

This was Operation Stock Up on Meat week for Kathy and I. Albertsons has a GREAT deal on boneless/skinless chicken breast, $1.79/lb. The ribs were B1G1, and the roast and ground beef were also on sale. They were not the reason we went to Albies, the S/B Chicken Breasts were. You see the Jet-Puffed, long story short, the kids asked for marshmallows the other day and not being the hot chocolate season quite yet in the Sunshine State, we of course did not have any. Well, I first spotted the 50¢/1 coupon tearpad, but our daughter was the one that won me over. No sale price shown anywhere the huge dump display, but in the end it was very much worth spending a whooping $1.09 (after the coupon) to see her being a hapy go lucky kid.
