Deals like Walgreens Trip #1 are how we had enough register rewards to buy Trip #2. We burned through many RR’s  to get everything for our daughter’s birthday party.   Thanks to Register Rewards we are able to keep the total cost of the birthday party under $100.

This was a great week for us.  My Publix totals  were  through several trips trying to use up my Discover Card coupons before they expire.   I plan to do several more trips today to get my fruits and veggies for the week.

The rule with Register Rewards at Walgreens is you cannot use a register reward you received  to purchase  the same item a second time.  If you do, the register reward will not print out the second time.

But…. Rules are made to be broken!

I just used the $6 register reward on the Gillette Razors to purchase another razor and guess what…..  It printed another $6 Register Reward.  WOOHOO!

Theraflu is on sale at Walgreens for $4.00
There is a $2.00 store coupon in the Healthy Savings Booklet
They advertise a $4 Register Reward when you buy 2.
I bought three for $6.00 after coupons and got an $8 Register Reward!!

$2.00 dollar profit and no tax to ruin the deal!!!!

This week as a slow week, but when we look back we still realize why we love couponing!!

Our percentage is usually a little higher, but we needed several extras to prepare for our son’s fourth birthday on Sunday.   Thankfully, we had most of what we needed by stockpiling when items were on sale.

Had a great morning at Wags using the $2.00 off Tylenol 8 Hour Relief coupons (08/23/09 SS). Most of the Western Orlando stores had shipping bins in the aisles and the shelves were being restocked.
