We just found out that April is both National Car Care and National Informed Women Month and a perfect opportunity to get empowered to care for your car! Did you know that in the United States the average age of cars and light trucks on the roads today has reached a record high of 9.4 years? That means it’s more important than ever to take proper care of your vehicle.

With the informative Web site www.MotorOilMatters.org (created by the maker of industry-leading brands Pennzoil and Quaker State) you can easily locate key information about how quality motor oils can help prolong your engine’s life and improve overall efficiency, as well as help answer other questions you may have about motor oil. In addition, the site offers a fun, educational game for you to play called “M.O.M. Knows Best” where you can put your motor mind to the test with an interactive quiz. I took the quiz, and missed 3 out of 10 questions. Yes, it is true that I am not a huge car guy, though I have changed the oil and filters many times, I prefer to pay someone else to do it because they can also spot other areas with their trained eyes that to you and me would go un-noticed or even if we possibly did see it, may not understand the gravity of the situation. BTW, the questions are vast and taking the quiz several times will show you different questions, though you might see a repeat once or twice in two quizes.

Under One Roof is a survey company that is new to me, but since it is sponsored by HGTV, Food Network, and diy Network, I decided to join. I took the first survey, about TV watching and what my watching habits are. It does not reward you point for doing surveys, but enters you in to sweepstakes.
