5 Minute GMC/Buick Test Drive = $15.00 Lowe’s Gift Card

Kathy and I loaded up the kids this morning and after going to the Winter Garden Farmer’s Market for our weekly veggies. We then headed on over to the Lowe’s at the Winter Garden Village at Fowler’s Grove to pick up some supplies for our veggie garden.

We picked a great day to go to Lowe’s because it is annual test drive time again. Al you have to do is fill out a liability waiver, and show your Driver’s License and chose which vehicle you want to test drive. The kicker to the deal is this, A $15.00 LOWE’S GIFT CARD. Yes, I said that right, fill out a liability waiver, test drive a vehicle around the parking lot, and after that get your gift card. We did this last year and there was never a post test drive phone call. So no pressure. Since Kathy and I both did a test drive we got our pine bark mulch for FREE!

The test drives last until 4pm today, and then until 6PM on Sunday, October 31st. We will be buying top soil with the cards tomorrow. Limit one card per person per day.

Have fun taking your test day.

October 25th Groupon Deal Across America

Groupon is offering one national deal across America:
$20 for $40 Worth of Natural Skin Care, Bath and Beauty Products at The Body Shop

FREE Sample of Wisk Courtesy of Target.com

Yes, you read the headline right. Head on over to Target.com’s Sample Spot and answer three questions. Plus, you will need to hand over your shipping info, and in 4-6 weeks or so you be the proud owner of a sample of the new Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology.

Just wondering how many people will be saying “Say Hello to my little friend” as they pour their sample over some stained laundry.

I have no idea how large the sample is.

FREE Sample of Emergen-C

Not only is the Emergen-c website a fun place to visit, there s a ton of useful info there. BTW, they have a form to fill out for a free sample. When I know that I am not getting my daily quota of vitamin C, usually because I did not have an orange or some other fresh fruit, I tear open a packet and stir it into a glass of water.

No, I am NOT being compensated for this on the spot review.

Go HERE to find out why I like this stuff so much, though I do prefer to get my vitamin C from a tree.

FREE Breathe Right Strips

Go HERE to get a FREE sample of
Breathe Right Strips. Does not say
how many strips you get, but this
offer is from Breathe Right.

Because this offer being listed on
allyou.com today (10/16),
the breatheright.com site is VERY
slow right now.

Do you have some spare free time on October 21-24th?

As many of you know by now, I have taken on the Director of Social Media position at Sommer Sports in Clermont, FL.

Next weekend we will be celebrating the 20th Annual Great Floridian Triathlon at Waterfront Park in Clermont, FL. There are several events taking place throughout the day on Saturday.

Ultra Distance: 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike, followed by a marathon (26.2 miles)
Long Course: 2K swim, 62K bike, then 15K run
Super Sprint: 200 yard swim, 8 mile bike, 2 mile run

There are a couple of other events that include Aqua Bike (aqua velo) and relays for the two longer course events.

All of the triathletes that participate in this world famous event train ALL YEAR for what they hope will be they turn to be victorious.

Now imagine what it takes to produce this type of event. This is why I am calling out to all my FrugalFloridian.com readers that live in the Central Florida area, and if so inclined to travel (we have several volunteers flying in from out of state) to volunteer for this event.

We need help across the board, whether it is passing out race packets during registration, helping rack bikes during the race, to passing out water along the course or at the finish line, we need your help.

If you have any amount of time to spare, and BTW if you live in Lake County, FL, and have children in high school, their volunteer hours count towards their community service in order to graduate.

Go HERE for the form you need to fill out and send in.

To all that decide to volunteer, THANK YOU and PLEASE let me know that you have sent in the form.

All You magazine + allyou.com = FREE STUFF!!

If you are new to couponing, you really want to subscribe to all you magazine. If you have never seen all you magazine (exclusively at WalMart stores or various sites online), it is packed with money saving coupons and is one that I read every month as soon as it arrives in our mailbox. Kathy and I regularly find coupon match-ups weekly using this magazine.

As Billy Mays used to state, “But Wait, There’s More…” in this case I want to tell you about allyou.com and their DAILY FREE SAMPLE page (the link goes to the FREE SAMPLE for October 15, 2010, and as of right now (8AM EDT) has not been unveiled.

Here is the awesome part about the giveaways. All you usually need to enter is your first initial, last name, email address, SOMETIMES your birth date month/year, and the address that you want the samples mailed to. Most of the items are health and beauty, but once in a while they do toss in household items. The other really cool thing, and what just cost me over an hour of my life because it has been a few weeks since I visited the site, is that you can go back a few months and still request the samples (if they are still available). So go sign up for some NAME BRAND FREE stuff from allyou.com

Here is a list of the coupons that appeared in the October 2010 issue of all you magazine.

2 Wonderful Events in Winter Garden on Saturday, October 9th.

There are two wonderful events happening really close to each other on Saturday, October 9th, at Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves (near the 429 and 535).

First event is a 5K Run at 7:30AM, with race day registration beginning at 6:30AM followed by a Fun Walk at 10AM. Please go HERE for more info.

Then, from 10AM – 2PM is an adoption drive by the group Floridalittledogrescue.com at PetSmart, which is also in the Village. In fact, if you are participating in either of the earlier events (which are being held to raise money for women’s health education), the course goes right in front of PetSmart. Visit their website tonight, so that you can get an idea of which rescued dog you would be interested in possibly adopting. Also, while on their website, you can apply so you can be pre-approved before tomorrow.

So, they you go, two events, both of which support wonderful causes. You can help fund women’s health education as you run, walk, stroll or roll through the village, or welcome a new furry friend into your home.
