Albertsons $5/$50 August 25th Newspaper Coupon

Time to go to the corner market, which around here usually means the 7-Eleven, CVS, or Wags, and look at today’s Orlando Sentinel.

If you are lucky enough to live within 5 miles or so of an Albertsons, there should be a $5.00/$50.00 coupon on the front page of their insert. This coupon is valid 8/27-8/29 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

If you are tired of driving to the corner market just to purchase the Orlando Sentinel, why not sign up for home delivery (at up to 65% OFF)?

Read this POST from the other day for all the details.

Besides the Orlando Sentinel, does this coupon appear in other Florida newspapers? Would any of our readers like to let us know so we can share it with everyone? Thanks

Have a great day today, and I will have Albertsons, Winn-Dixie, Publix deals with match-ups online soon.

Michelle, You are sssoooo lucky. I filled out the form at the Windermere store, and within a few weeks, maybe 3 or 4, and then I received 2 envelopes on the same day with the same flier. Of course that was a week that they did not run the $5/$50 coupon. Then the next week I received the insert via the mail on Wed. Lately it has been VERY sporatic. Some weeks I get the mailer on Thursdays, sometimes not at all. Very frustrating. At least it is the newspaper insert instead of the insert that is at the store, so if they are running the $5/$50 coupon, it will be in there.

For my readers that have no clue what I am talking about, the next time you are at an Albertsons, ask for the form that you need to fill out to receive the weekly newspaper insert via the mail. They want you to fax it to the number on the form, but I know several people that simply fill out the form at customer service and hand it back to them. I wish more supermarkets would do this.

Mark I am excited to have a $5 Q but honestly after thinking about it, I cant use it. I NEVER spend $50 per trip (Albs or publix) not even before coupons. LOL!! I only buy for me and my fiance and we have such a big stockpile already!! Can I send this to you? If I send it today you’ll have it in time to use it by Sunday, I;m in S. FL!!

    Hi Michelle,
Thank you for your generous offer to mail it to me, but better then spending the 44¢ on the stamp, give it to someone closer to you, a neighbor, maybe a friend at work, friend from your place of worship, if you have a preferred employee at a store, REGARDLESS if bagger, cashier, customer service employee, etc hand it to them. If you have a fire station near-by, they have to shop for groceries to, per shift (each shift buys their own food), and several people close to me, including my brother tells me how people will drop off coupons and explain to them how to use them.
When we have several extra of the Albertsons $5/$50 coupon, I will give them to neighbors and explain to them how to use it the best they can to get the most stuff that they want for the money.

Let me know what you decided to do.

    Mark

Hey Mark I ended up using the $5 Alb’s coupon myself (at Publix)!! Who knew I could ever spend so much at Publix but the deals were too good this week, lol. (Plus its football season which means we needs lotsa BEER lol).
I ended up spending $17 and saving $94. HOLY MOLY!! And here I was thinking I wouldnt even make the $50! LoL

  • Anita says:

the Albies $5/$50 has officially become :( since Publix will only accept it after all cpns like Albies now. I don’t think but possibly once I came close to spending $50 oop at either store. That at least alleviates running around trying to find the ad on Wed.

  • MichelleA says:

Anita my Publix actually took it before all my other coupons without any problems!! I think it depends on your store/mgr/cashier etc. cuz I dont ever come close to the $50 OOP either!! (Thats a very good thing lol) ;)
