Interesting Hair Cuttery Coupon, or when is a $25 Purchase not a $25 Purchase.

I found this $5/$25 coupon in the August 29th Orlando Sentinel. To see what else I found, please view this POST.

The wording of this coupon piqued my interest because I wondered what Hair Cuttery considered a purchase to be. I have now called 4 different salons in the Orlando area, and received 3 different answers. 2 told me that each person’s bill is rung up separately, and that that coupon is really meant for women who are getting a bunch of services done. The other salon told me that she THINKS it would be ok to have 2 haircuts as one purchase (my young son and I), but she wasn’t sure. The one hold out told me to call her corporate office and to talk to someone about selling them advertising. After she finally understood that I was not selling advertising but was calling about a Hair Cuttery coupon, she told me that her store does not accept coupons and then said she had to go and hung up.

So, does anyone out there know what Hair Cuttery considers to be a purchase?

McDonald’s Coupon Sheet in the 8/29 Orlando Sentinel.

I found a McD’s Sheet of Coupons (B1G1’s on a bunch of their food) in the August 29th Orlando Sentinel. To see what else I found, please view this POST.

B1G1 FREE Medium Frappé
B1G1 FREE Big Mac Sandwich
B1G1 FREE Sausage McMuffin With Egg

B1G1 FREE Southern Style Chicken Sandwich

The ONE Item that IS NOT B1G1 FREE Item is:
FREE Med Fry & Med Drink WYB ANY Angus Third Pounder (pre-cook weight at least 5.33oz)

Because I have received a few emails since my posting yesterday that I reference above, I have not yet decided if this is going to be a give away or not. It all depends on how many of the sheets I am able to acquire from my friends and family over the next couple of days.

I need everyone’s help on this. Can you please let me know if your paper had the B1G1 sheet or a variation where the coupons are $x.xx instead. In your comment please let me know which sheet you recieved and the newspaper you received it in. Thanks in advance, Mark

Don’t Toss Your 8/29/10 Orlando Sentinel yet.

Besides the 60¢/1 Kellogg’s Raisin Bran coupon in the PARADE Magazine (see post here), I found a McD’s Sheet of Coupons (B1G1’s on a bunch of their food), a sheet of coupons for Shoney’s, and a $5/$25 coupon sticker on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel’s Orange Extra section. I will have more detailed info up later, but I am in a time crunch right now and just wanted to make sure that you don’t let these sheets go through your fingers.

End of the August Coupon Printing Time.

Hello everyone. One ritual that Kathy and I have is the monthly review of coupons that we might use soon, but have yet to print from either Coupons.com, Redplum.com or SmartSource.com

Yes, sometimes you have to juggle the thought of ink/paper vs savings at the register, but I would rather print a coupon (and pass it along to a neighbor, friend, or family member a week or two before it expires) than to know there was a coupon and I didn’t print it. Don’t forget that you can almost always print 2 coupons PER computer simply by clicking on your web browser’s back button.

If you want to look over the sites above, just click on either their links above, or on their icons:
