Hidden Coupons at the Post Office.

Over the years I have gone to the Post Office and grabbed a couple of the “Change of Address/Moving” packets which contain among other things, a 10% Off coupon to Lowes which until recently did not have an expiration date, and if you use the self check out lane, you can keep the coupon.

The curent Lowe’s coupon expires on June 15, 2010.

All you have to do is go to the customer service counter and request as many as you wish. If your Post Office still has the booklets out on a counter, you are lucky, because at the beginning of 2010 the moving kits were supposed to have been moved to behind the counter.

Technically there is a slot for depositing the coupon at the Self-Check Out station. To each his own, but I always put mine in the slot. I’m sure these get counted at the end of the day.

I actually recently moved, and did a change of address. The confirmation packet that came in the mail included a $5 off $20 Publix coupon and even better… a coupon for a $25 Publix gift card w/ any new or transferred prescription!! I was sooo happy :)
