In The Mailbox: Atkins Starter Kit

On January 4, 2010, I let you know about an offer for a free Atkins Starter Kit (which is still valid). In our mailbox today was an envelope containing the promised Atkins Starter Kit.

Inside the envelope (contents shown above), were the following items:
A thank you/welcome letter.
Atkins Comprehensive Carb Counter soft cover book.
Atkins Quick-Start Guide.
The 3 promised bars.

I will be giving this to a friend who has been doing Atkins for a while and can put the items to good use.

In The Mailbox: SPARK by Advocare Sample Pack.

On January 22, 2010, I let you know about an offer (which is still valid) to receive a sample of the energy drink SPARK from Advocare. In our mailbox today was an envelope containing the promised sample.

Inside the envelope (contents shown above), was the single sample pack of SPARK, which is stirred into an 8oz glass of water, a postcard for On the backside of the postcard was a promo for, but that offer has already expired, most likely because it maxed out the amount of entries. As I expected, and did not mind at all, was a 6 page brochure explaining the benefits of Advocare.

I will drink an entire glass of water with the sample soon and let  you know how it turned out.

Typed a Few Letters, Gained 4 Swagbucks.

Do you know about Swagbucks? If not, go to and find out.

Right after posting the Disney DVDs going to the vault, I did a search via SwagBucks and those few letters that I typed added 4 Swagbucks to my account.

All I have is Swagbucks as my homepage. I have found that installing their toolbar into Safari or FireFox, that it caused a couple of things that I did not like, so I uninstalled it and just use the search function on the homepage (and code hints when I find them).

If you have no idea what I am talking about, go to and find out.
